Choice.com.au has performed an independent review and testing of the Vitora Sportslife tyre. See how we performed.
Once the preserve of high-end sports cars and after-market modifiers, low-profile tyres are increasingly being fitted either as standard equipment or as an upgrade option on more mainstream vehicles. In response to this trend, we evaluate 16 models of size 225/45R17 tyres – the lowest-profile tyre size we’ve ever tested here at CHOICE – ranging in price between $125 and $315. Our review will help you find the best tyres based on:
- wet and dry braking performance
- wet and dry cornering performance
- rolling resistance.
We’d like to thank Morgan Park Raceway in Warwick, Qld, for ensuring a smooth test, and Holden Australia for providing the test vehicle.
Are low-profile tyres right for your car? We’ve laid out the pros and cons to help you make the right choice.
